Passport & Visa Photo Maker Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Passport & Visa Photo Maker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by StedyWorks (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). The Application is monetized through in-app purchases and contains no third-party advertising. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects a limited set of information automatically when you use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Your Mobile Device Advertising ID (Apple IDFA on iOS, where you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt; Google Advertising ID on Android)
- Anonymous app interaction events—specifically when you open the camera or photo gallery, tap save, and view or select an item on the purchase screen—together with the photo template you chose (e.g., a country / visa type identifier such as "passport")
- The operating system and general device information used by our analytics partners
The Application does not require you to create an account, and we do not assign you a user ID. All analytics events are anonymous. The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Photos and Image Processing
Photos that you capture or select within the Application are processed entirely on your device. Background removal and other edits are performed locally using an on-device machine-learning model that ships inside the Application. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party. When you save a finished photo, it is written to your device's photo library; any temporary working files are deleted from your device's local storage immediately after the save completes.
Purchases
The Application offers in-app purchases, including a single-use save credit and a one-time premium upgrade. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store on iOS and by Google Play Billing on Android. Subscription and entitlement state is managed by our purchase-management provider, RevenueCat, which receives the transaction information necessary to validate your receipt and reflect your purchases inside the Application. The Service Provider does not receive or store your full payment details (such as your credit-card number).
Third Party Access
To understand how the Application is used and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing, we transmit a small amount of pseudonymous data—specifically your Mobile Device Advertising ID (Apple IDFA on iOS; Google Advertising ID on Android), your IP address, and the anonymous interaction events described above—to our analytics and attribution partners. On iOS, your IDFA is shared with Meta only after you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
- Google Play Services
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Meta (Facebook App Events)
- RevenueCat
- Apple App Store (iOS in-app purchases)
- Google Play Billing (Android in-app purchases)
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
On iOS, the Application asks for your permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt before sharing your advertising identifier with our attribution partner; if you decline, no advertising identifier is shared. You can change this choice at any time under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can reset or limit advertising tracking under your device's "Privacy" or "Ads" settings. You can also stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. Under GDPR, you have the Right to Request Deletion of your data and the Right to Withdraw Consent. To exercise these rights, please contact us at stedyapps@gmail.com.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider does not store user-identifiable data on its own servers. Anonymous analytics and attribution events are retained by our third-party providers according to their own policies. Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat for as long as required to support refunds, restorations, and accounting. If you would like us to assist with a deletion request directed at one of our third-party providers, please contact us at stedyapps@gmail.com and we will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (stedyapps@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-05-25.
Your Consent
By using the Application, and where applicable by providing explicit consent via our in-app consent prompt (including the iOS App Tracking Transparency dialog), you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. Users in the EEA/UK have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.
